I found All-Madden on older gen ('04-'08) much harder vs current gen. Usually there's 2-3 formations/passing plays that always work (95%) no matter the D AI throws at you. Once you find those plays, it's quite laughable how sloppy the game design was. Some folks prefer not cheesing the AI.
