I am going to buy a Glock 30 or 30s in the coming weeks. From reading on the various gun forums it looks like more people like/love the 30s instead of the 30. I know the slide is slightly more narrow on the 30s compared to the 30 but the width of both guns is exactly the same according to the Glock specs and the other dimensions are the same.

the 30s is all win. if you're planning to carry it I would go w the 30s hands down. FYI the G41 and G21 frames are the same. the difference is in slide thickness. Shield carries 1 round more than even Kahr CW45 and 2 more than CM45 or XD-S (although Springfield provide extended magazines). Still, it's far short from the usual 10-round capacity on small double stacks such as Mod.2 or G30.When I got my 30S I posted a side by side size comparison (dunno if it was in this forum or another) with the 30s with the 9rd mag and the 10rd mag compared to my G26 and G19.
